Travelling by Eurotunnel

If you want the convenience of taking your own car and are looking for the shortest crossing, Eurotunnel is the fastest way to cross the Channel at just 35 minutes. There are up to three crossings per hour and checking in and boarding is easy.

Subject to availability, the each-way supplement costs are:

£32 for a Sunday/Monday outbound or Monday inbound

£72 for a high season Friday/Saturday outbound or Saturday/Sunday inbound, also Bank Holiday Monday 26th August

£57 for a mid-week crossing (or low season weekend)

Caravans/trailers are £105 each way.

We can arrange your Eurotunnel booking at the time of booking your holiday. Call our Customer Service team on 01825 748318.

Check-in is no later than 30 minutes before departure but no earlier than 2 hours before, using just your booking reference (and, of course, your passport!). Exit checks mean that you will need to submit API (Advance Passenger Information) beforehand, but this is easy to do online or over the phone with Eurotunnel – look out for an email about this a couple of months before you depart.

There are a number of cafés and shops at both ends of the Eurotunnel terminal and the terminal buildings have free wifi.
